The Healing Power of Energy

Reiki is a form of energy healing that works with the natural flow of energy within and around us. To understand Reiki, it's important to first recognize that everything in the universe is energy—constantly in motion, constantly vibrating.

While objects may appear solid to the naked eye, on a microscopic level, their atoms are in constant motion. If you were to examine your hand under a microscope, you would see that its atoms are vibrating rapidly. Some things vibrate slowly, which makes them dense or heavy, and some things vibrate quickly, which make them light and fine. This vibration is what defines the nature of the physical world.

 

Energy and Emotions: How Thoughts Shape Our Reality

Just as physical objects vibrate, so do our thoughts and emotions. Emotions are energy in motion, and they can be measured by their vibrational frequency. For example, feelings of joy and love are associated with higher vibrations, while emotions like shame, fear, or anger vibrate at lower frequencies.

Our emotional state affects not only how we feel but also our aura—the energy field that surrounds us. When we enter a room, we may sense the mood or energy of the space, even before we engage with others. This is because we are subconsciously picking up on the energy that is present.

The Role of Chakras: Balancing Our Energy Centers

In addition to our aura, we have 7 energy centers within the body, known as chakras. These spinning wheels of energy regulate our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. When a chakra becomes blocked or imbalanced, it can manifest as physical symptoms or emotional issues.

For instance, negative thought patterns, unhealed trauma, stress, or self-destructive behaviors can lead to imbalances in one or more of our chakras. This is where energy healing practices like Reiki come into play.

Reiki is a gentle healing practice where the practitioner channels universal life force energy to restore balance, clear blockages, and promote healing on physical and emotional levels. It can help balance the chakras, clear stagnant energy, and support the body's natural healing process. Regular Reiki sessions can enhance emotional release, reduce stress, and improve overall wellness.

EXPERIENCE REIKI

Reiki Healing (1 hour, in-person session)

During a Reiki session, healing energy will be channelled to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. The process is non-invasive, and often leads to a sense of deep relaxation and balance.

Reiki Level One (First Degree) - Usui Shiki Ryoho (in-person 2 day workshop)

Reiki One is the foundation of the Reiki practice and focuses on healing the body and promoting balance. This level involves four attunements that align the chakras and prepare the energy system to channel Reiki energy. After receiving these attunements, the student can use their hands to channel Reiki energy for self-healing and healing others.
